by

    From http://www.ddm.org.tw :

The Most Venerable Master Sheng Yen once said, “Where there is life, there must be death. If one cannot face this reality it will become one’s greatest barrier in life, if one can regard death merely as a fraction within the eternal time and space then death is not an end to life but the beginning of the next.”

  4. LTD Says:

Some years back, Master Sheng Yen said in a press’s interview :
‘ A lot of people have money, status and health, by they don’t feel happy. Everyone is afraid. A remedy can be found in having the right attitude about life. If your attitude is correct, you will not be affected by your environment. The world is always changing. Life is often unfair. Actually, nothing is really fair in this world, so there is no need to seek fairness. Accept it that not everything is fair, and it can help reduce the pain of your problem. And when the pain is reduced, the problem will go away. That’s why having the right attitude is very important. ‘
